Good Hair Day, better known as ghd, is a manufacturer of hair care products. It leads the hair straightener market and is sold in more than 50,000 salons worldwide. The company was the first sponsor of hair tools for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Martin Penny, Gary Douglas and Robert Powls founded ghd in 2001, the three of them collaborated to buy the rights to a hair straightener from a South Korean inventor, which later took off organically.
