Description

The Agua Florida was created by Master Perfumer Robert I. Murray in New York (United States) in the early 19th century as a cooler version of the famous Cologne Water, with more emphasis on the citrus notes of Orange than on the Limon and Neroli present in the original. Such was her success that she went on in less than a decade to surpass her European opponent in fame and began to be known as the "World's Most Famous Perfume".

Its name refers to its floral base, which contains Lavender and Nail among its components, but also to the place where the Fountain of Eternal Youth, the American State of Florida, was believed to be located. Today it is still used with the same original formula of 1808.
