Super Test My Skin Type
After this wonderful summer, of sun and beach every day, our skin complains no matter the thousands of layers of sunscreen we apply. The season comes to moisturize our skin and give it a few pampering.
But the first thing is to know what type of skin you have, there are three types of skin: Oily, Normal or Dry.
It is very important to know what type of skin you have, if you do not know it you will use products that instead of providing health and beauty, will ruin your skin little by little.
Follow the instructions below to find out what skin type you have and which products work best for you.
1-Wash your face with a neutral soap and rinse
2-Dry the face a towel gently.
3-Wait about 30 minutes for your skin to return to its naturalness, and place a dry paper mask, if you do not have one, cut two strips of Chinese paper and place them on your face, the first vertically from your forehead to chin; the second from the cheek to the temple.
4-Leave it for 3-5 minutes.
Results:
-If both strips have shine and are wet, your skin is oily.
-If it only has little moisture, your skin is Normal.
-If the mask or paper strips do not present any change, your skin is Dry.
OILY SKIN:
Remember above all, that having oily skin does not mean that it is well hydrated. Hydration is the retention of water molecules in the skin, while fat is the sebum produced by the skin.
This means that despite what we think, oily skin does need hydration and care. Even, after starting to moisturize and take care of it you will begin to notice that your skin causes less oil than before.
RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS:
DRY SKIN:
Some skin is dry due to lack of hydration and lipids. This can be affected by stress, weather, genetics, age, poor diet and otros factors. This causes us to lose elasticity and wrinkles appear on the skin, so be careful.
To rejuvenate your skin and recover your healthy skin, you need a balanced diet with plenty of hydration, and be stress-free. In addition, some products according to your need. In these cases you need hydration and cleansing.
RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS:
NORMAL/COMBINATION SKIN:
These are the most common skin type. The oily part of the face is usually the T-zone, while the rest behaves like dry skin, or none of the cases.
It is advisable to clean it every day with micellar waters, due to the great cleaning it performs inside your pores. You also need at least one exfoliation per week.
RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS:
Remember, all skin types need care both during the day and at night. You may think that they are similar or the same, but in reality they usually have very different functions, since night products are usually much stronger and more effective. It is important to note that the use of products for the night during the day is not recommended, since these are created especially so that contact with the sun does not arrive and thus can not cause damage to your skin.
The skin of the body is a little easier to wear. It is easy to identify if it is oily or dry, or depending on the area, mixed.
In the body more than anything hydration is needed, both external using creams and products, and drinking water.
If your skin is oily, you should not use products in excess, as this does not allow your skin to breathe, and for this reason is that sebum is produced.
For dry skin, you need hydration depending on the level you present. For example, skin that does not yet show peeling or extreme dryness would do well to use moisturizer at least twice a day. Whereas, if your skin is flaking and you can see even from afar that it is dry, we can recommend using moisturizers daily, and some weekends you can use a natural oil so that your skin absorbs all these ingredients.
After knowing this , do you know what type of skin you have?
